Minimum requirements include a Bachelors Degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering and 3+ years of experience in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering. Additional qualifications desired include;

• Excellent understanding of real-time automatic control systems, AC and DC drive systems, PLCs, data acquisition, signal measurement and analysis, supervisory control systems
• Fundamental knowledge about mechanical systems and concepts such as hydraulics, pneumatics, stress/strain, heat transfer, fourier transforms, statistical analysis, as well as about preventive maintenance
• Strong project management skills, including ability to effectively deal with in-house teams, equipment vendors, contract engineers, and installation contractors
• Responsible for troubleshooting encounters that center around meeting the goals/requirements of the projects in the face of tight, frequently revised schedules during the commissioning and start-up period of new equipment
• Fluency in engineering software tools (such as AutoCAD, E-plan, Matlab...) and MS Excel
• Good listening skills and strong written and oral communication skills in technical areas and in presentation of ideas and concepts to a wide range of audiences.
• Flexible and able to operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment - ready for overtime, as necessary
• Experience in the commissioning and operation of metals/strip or paper processing lines is preferred
